My daughter was stuck in an elevator for an hour and a half last week while at work. Theses stories make her realize that it could have been much worse.

At my last job, the San Francisco office was serviced by an elevator that never behaved quite right. Lurched quite a bit, once a couple of co-workers had to crawl up and out because it was stuck partway below the ground floor.
Another co-worker created a Twitter account for it: https://twitter.com/basho_elevator

Being stuck in an elevator with your co-workers is torture enough

Luckily she was alone. It was also lucky that she had a radio on her since the emergency phone in the elevator didn’t work.
